Dr Kristen Weatherby
Our Founder
Kristen is a mother, a teacher, a researcher, a VC Scout and an edtech industry expert. She has spent most of her career in the edtech sector in the US, UK and France, including 14 years at one of the largest global software companies in the industry. She has been a part of three accelerators for edtech start-ups and has consulted with start-ups throughout Europe and the Americas. After working with the French government and seeing firsthand the support they provide to female founders, she founded Breakthrough Labs in 2023.​
